Born on 28 August

28 August: the reading for this birthday alone
People born on the 28th know how to push ahead and lead, yet they can also work hand in hand with others. Life brings a big rise, though leaving matters to others sometimes brings a fall. Looking into legal and financial matters themselves before deciding makes their position secure.
The Sun at birth: Leo · Magha. At your birth the Sun stood in its own sign, Leo, so there is something regal in your personality. Respect and recognition matter a great deal to you, and you are generous too. You are at ease on a stage or in front of a team; your test is not to hunger for praise.
The Sun sits in the middle third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Jupiter, so knowledge, a sense of principle and the gift of teaching are added. The Sun in Magha gives a deep pull towards lineage, tradition and ancestors; the seat of honour draws you. The planet of your root number and the lord of the Sun's sign are the same: The Sun. So this planet's qualities work in your life with double strength.
Born on 28 August, with the Sun in Leo: four areas of life
Career
You succeed both as a leader and in a team; check legal matters and paperwork yourself. Your place is in administration, politics, management, entertainment or wherever leadership is needed.
Money
A big rise comes, but leaving money to others brings loss; look into it yourself. Spending for status runs high; even with a good income, keep accounts.
Love and relationships
You are happiest in a relationship of equal partners. Generous and warm in love, you expect admiration and respect from your partner.
Health
Look after the eyes and heart; too much responsibility builds fatigue. Look after the heart, spine and eyes; avoid overexertion.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
the Moon: Inside, you are soft and easily touched. You read someone's state of mind from their face alone, and that is exactly why small remarks wound you more than they should.
Saturn: Outside, you are steady and dependable. When a task falls to you, people know it will get done.
Root number 1 belongs to the Sun, and the Sun stands in nobody's shadow. Neither do you. Until you have built an identity of your own, in work, in business or within the family, you will not be satisfied. You decide quickly, and respect matters more to you than money. The one difficulty is that stubbornness sometimes outruns reason. Those born under this number show the same pattern again and again: the ones who learned to listen to the people close to them led for a long time, and the ones who never learned rose high and found themselves alone.
enemy Inside versus outside: There is a pull between the inside and the outside. You are not quite the person others see. Reconciling the two is the larger lesson of your life.
