the Sun · the strength to stand on your own
Compound number 10: The wheel of fortune. The capacity to fall and get back up is in the marrow of this number, so even after losing everything you can build it a second time.
10 April: the reading for this birthday alone
Those born on the 10th know how to get up after a fall. At least once in life everything has to be started again, and real establishment comes with that second start. Confident and keen to live by their own identity, they find that both good and bad come to them on a larger scale.
The Sun at birth: Pisces · Revati. At your birth the Sun stood in Pisces. Imagination, compassion and a spiritual pull run deep in you. Art, music or service hold your heart. You take on other people's pain as your own; keep the practical accounts straight and feeling will never cheat you.
The Sun sits in the last third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Mars, so courage, fire and the will to fight on are added. The Sun in Revati makes you kind, a guide and a helper to others on the road; travel and nourishment both favour you. The Sun, the planet of your root number, and Jupiter, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are friends. So the qualities of your birthday and of your sign pull in the same direction; you are quick to find your path.
Born on 10 April, with the Sun in Pisces: four areas of life
Career
Your real establishment comes with a fresh start or a second career. Art, music, medicine, service, religious or charitable work bring both your heart and your success.
Money
Income rises and falls; save in good times and the lean ones will not bite. Money does not stay easily; it goes on charity or on others, so set yourself a saving rule.
Love and relationships
You are sincere in love but do not want to lose your identity; when your partner understands that, the bond deepens. Devoted and romantic in love; only idealising your partner leads to hurt later.
Health
Energy is good, but sudden fatigue follows overwork; keep your sleep regular. Mind the feet, sleep and immunity; stay away from intoxicants.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
the Sun: Inside, you are built for independence. From childhood, an order given in the wrong tone makes something in you refuse, and you find no peace unless the decision is your own.
Zero gives nothing of its own, but it multiplies the strength of whatever stands beside it. So the qualities and the faults of your first digit both show up in your life far more sharply than they otherwise would.
Root number 1 belongs to the Sun, and the Sun stands in nobody's shadow. Neither do you. Until you have built an identity of your own, in work, in business or within the family, you will not be satisfied. You decide quickly, and respect matters more to you than money. The one difficulty is that stubbornness sometimes outruns reason. Those born under this number show the same pattern again and again: the ones who learned to listen to the people close to them led for a long time, and the ones who never learned rose high and found themselves alone.
zero Inside versus outside: Zero makes the strength of the first digit denser still. The same note sounds inside and outside, but at much greater intensity.
