5 August: the reading for this birthday alone
Born on the 5th means a mind that will not settle in one place for long. New cities, new people, new work: change does not tire them, it keeps them alive. Quick with words and sharp in business, they only need to watch the impatience that lets good chances slip.
The Sun at birth: Cancer · Ashlesha. At your birth the Sun stood in Cancer. Family and those close to you come first, and your mother's influence runs deep. The mind is sensitive and slow to forget old memories. The search for security is what draws you to savings and to home.
The Sun sits in the middle third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Mars, so courage, fire and the will to fight on are added. The Sun in Ashlesha gives a sharp ability to read people; used for good, it brings respect. Mercury, the planet of your root number, and The Moon, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are friends. So the qualities of your birthday and of your sign pull in the same direction; you are quick to find your path.
