Born on 5 April
Mercury · the speed to grasp a thing at once
5 April: the reading for this birthday alone
Born on the 5th means a mind that will not settle in one place for long. New cities, new people, new work: change does not tire them, it keeps them alive. Quick with words and sharp in business, they only need to watch the impatience that lets good chances slip.
The Sun at birth: Pisces · Revati. At your birth the Sun stood in Pisces. Imagination, compassion and a spiritual pull run deep in you. Art, music or service hold your heart. You take on other people's pain as your own; keep the practical accounts straight and feeling will never cheat you.
The Sun sits in the last third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Mars, so courage, fire and the will to fight on are added. The Sun in Revati makes you kind, a guide and a helper to others on the road; travel and nourishment both favour you. Mercury, the planet of your root number, and Jupiter, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are friends. So the qualities of your birthday and of your sign pull in the same direction; you are quick to find your path.
Born on 5 April, with the Sun in Pisces: four areas of life
Career
In sales, travel and communication work your speed outpaces everyone. Art, music, medicine, service, religious or charitable work bring both your heart and your success.
Money
Money comes fast and goes fast; set aside a fixed sum every month. Money does not stay easily; it goes on charity or on others, so set yourself a saving rule.
Love and relationships
Monotony is the enemy of your relationships; take your partner out somewhere now and then. Devoted and romantic in love; only idealising your partner leads to hurt later.
Health
Nerves and skin are sensitive; walk regularly to ease restlessness. Mind the feet, sleep and immunity; stay away from intoxicants.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
Root number 5 belongs to Mercury, the messenger, so speaking, writing, reckoning and bargaining all come naturally to you. You can adapt yourself to any situation, and that flexibility has rescued you from trouble more than once. But Mercury will not let you sit still. The work that demands patient persistence is exactly where you stumble most. The large gains of your life will arrive when you finally choose one thing and stay with it.
Your birthday is a single digit, so your nature, behaviour and core all share one number. Your personality is simple and clear.
