30 December: the reading for this birthday alone
Those born on the 30th are bright in speech, writing and thought. Their imagination is vivid and they can lay out a plan clearly. Firm in their views and sometimes a little stubborn, they mix easily with people; building the habit of carrying plans through to the end brings success quickly.
The Sun at birth: Sagittarius · Purva Ashadha. At your birth the Sun stood in Sagittarius. Ideals, a sense of dharma and the ability to think on a large scale are in your nature. Travel, higher learning and the role of a teacher draw you. You speak plainly; just make sure that honesty does not wound.
The Sun sits in the middle third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Mars, so courage, fire and the will to fight on are added. The Sun in Purva Ashadha gives strong confidence and a winning mindset; you do not know how to give in. The planet of your root number and the lord of the Sun's sign are the same: Jupiter. So this planet's qualities work in your life with double strength.

Your three-layer personality
Jupiter: Inside, you are curious and hopeful. The chance to learn something new freshens your whole mind.
Zero gives nothing of its own, but it multiplies the strength of whatever stands beside it. So the qualities and the faults of your first digit both show up in your life far more sharply than they otherwise would.
Root number 3 belongs to Jupiter, teacher of the gods, so learning and teaching are both woven into your nature. What you know you cannot keep to yourself; it has to be told to someone. That quality carries you into the place of a teacher, an adviser or a guide, and even without the title people come to you for counsel. The danger is a single one: interest spreads in too many directions and nothing reaches its end. It is the work you finish that gives you your name.
zero Inside versus outside: Zero makes the strength of the first digit denser still. The same note sounds inside and outside, but at much greater intensity.
