3 May: the reading for this birthday alone
Those born on the 3rd never have to try to be the centre of the gathering. Storytelling, writing, teaching, anywhere words have to reach people, they shine. If they can tame the habit of starting many things and dropping them halfway, their talent travels far.
The Sun at birth: Aries · Bharani. At your birth the Sun stood in Aries, where it is at its strongest (exalted). Confidence and the urge to move forward are plain in your nature. Leadership finds you; the only thing to manage is impatience.
The Sun sits in the middle third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by The Sun, so self-respect and the instinct to lead grow stronger. The Sun in Bharani gives the strength to carry heavy duties; the hard phases of life make you firmer. Jupiter, the planet of your root number, and Mars, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are neutral to each other. Which side grows stronger depends largely on your own choices.
Born on 3 May, with the Sun in Aries: four areas of life
Career
In speaking, writing and presenting you are the first to be noticed. Work where you can decide for yourself suits you: the army or police, engineering, sport or your own business.
Money
There are several small streams of income; make a habit of pooling them. Income comes from initiative and goes just as fast; keep an emergency fund.
Love and relationships
A cheerful partner and open conversation keep your relationship fresh. In love you are direct and sincere, though words said in anger hurt later.
Health
Watch the throat and liver; irregular meals are your great enemy. Watch the head, eyes and blood pressure; take care against injuries.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
Root number 3 belongs to Jupiter, teacher of the gods, so learning and teaching are both woven into your nature. What you know you cannot keep to yourself; it has to be told to someone. That quality carries you into the place of a teacher, an adviser or a guide, and even without the title people come to you for counsel. The danger is a single one: interest spreads in too many directions and nothing reaches its end. It is the work you finish that gives you your name.
Your birthday is a single digit, so your nature, behaviour and core all share one number. Your personality is simple and clear.
