23 May: the reading for this birthday alone
Fortune is a little kind to those born on the 23rd. They adapt easily to new places, new people and new work, and help comes from unexpected quarters. Quick and witty, they reach their full promise once they build the patience to stay with one task for longer.
The Sun at birth: Taurus · Krittika. At your birth the Sun stood in Taurus. It brings steadiness and patience; you dislike hurry, but once you take hold of something you do not let go. You understand the value of money and things, and you enjoy comfort.
The Sun sits in the first third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Venus, so taste, artistic sense and sweetness in relationships are added. The Sun in Krittika puts an edge on your words and actions; you cannot stay silent when you see something wrong. Mercury, the planet of your root number, and Venus, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are friends. So the qualities of your birthday and of your sign pull in the same direction; you are quick to find your path.

Your three-layer personality
the Moon: Inside, you are soft and easily touched. You read someone's state of mind from their face alone, and that is exactly why small remarks wound you more than they should.
Jupiter: Outside, you are cheerful and good with words. The atmosphere of a room changes when you walk into it, and people notice that.
Root number 5 belongs to Mercury, the messenger, so speaking, writing, reckoning and bargaining all come naturally to you. You can adapt yourself to any situation, and that flexibility has rescued you from trouble more than once. But Mercury will not let you sit still. The work that demands patient persistence is exactly where you stumble most. The large gains of your life will arrive when you finally choose one thing and stay with it.
friend Inside versus outside: The inner mind and the outward behaviour support each other. You do what you think, which is why people trust you easily.
