13 April: the reading for this birthday alone
Born on the 13th means a life of breaking and rebuilding. Old rules, old places, old ties that no longer work: they are not afraid to let them go and start afresh. Hard-working and exacting, they find that every jolt lifts them a step higher once they accept change.
The Sun at birth: Pisces · Revati. At your birth the Sun stood in Pisces. Imagination, compassion and a spiritual pull run deep in you. Art, music or service hold your heart. You take on other people's pain as your own; keep the practical accounts straight and feeling will never cheat you.
The Sun sits in the last third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Mars, so courage, fire and the will to fight on are added. The Sun in Revati makes you kind, a guide and a helper to others on the road; travel and nourishment both favour you. Rahu, the planet of your root number, and Jupiter, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are neutral to each other. Which side grows stronger depends largely on your own choices.
Born on 13 April, with the Sun in Pisces: four areas of life
Career
You are skilled at restructuring, repair or replacing old systems with new ones. Art, music, medicine, service, religious or charitable work bring both your heart and your success.
Money
Hard work brings income, but keep a fund aside for sudden change. Money does not stay easily; it goes on charity or on others, so set yourself a saving rule.
Love and relationships
Relationships go through phases of change; open conversation makes them easier to cross. Devoted and romantic in love; only idealising your partner leads to hurt later.
Health
Overwork strains muscles and back; give the body rest. Mind the feet, sleep and immunity; stay away from intoxicants.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
the Sun: Inside, you are built for independence. From childhood, an order given in the wrong tone makes something in you refuse, and you find no peace unless the decision is your own.
Jupiter: Outside, you are cheerful and good with words. The atmosphere of a room changes when you walk into it, and people notice that.
Root number 4 belongs to Rahu, the shadow planet, whose nature is to avoid the easy route. Nothing in your life arrives in a straight line either. What another person reaches in ten years you may reach in fifteen, but what you reach, nobody can take from you. Those born under this number find, again and again, that a major upheaval arrives midway through life, and that the real progress begins only after it. Patience is your greatest asset and haste your greatest enemy.
friend Inside versus outside: The inner mind and the outward behaviour support each other. You do what you think, which is why people trust you easily.
