Jupiter · knowledge and the gift of expression
Compound number 12: The number of sacrifice. You have to give up your own advantage for someone else, over and over, but that sacrifice is never wasted; the return comes, late but certain.
12 March: the reading for this birthday alone
People born on the 12th give up their own advantage for others again and again, almost without thinking. They explain and teach well, and there is warmth in their voice. The return for their sacrifice comes late, but it comes; they just need to stop before carrying everyone's load wears them out.
The Sun at birth: Aquarius · Purva Bhadrapada. At your birth the Sun stood in Aquarius. You think a little differently and look for solutions off the usual road. Your circle of friends is wide and social causes interest you. You keep some distance in showing feelings, which those close to you sometimes misread.
The Sun sits in the last third of the sign, a portion (drekkana) ruled by Venus, so taste, artistic sense and sweetness in relationships are added. The Sun in Purva Bhadrapada means you can give up a great deal for an ideal; an intense fire burns within. Jupiter, the planet of your root number, and Saturn, lord of the Sun's sign at birth, are neutral to each other. Which side grows stronger depends largely on your own choices.
Born on 12 March, with the Sun in Aquarius: four areas of life
Career
You earn respect in teaching, training or professions that help others. You do well in technology, science, social work, NGOs or new kinds of ventures.
Money
Much goes on others; think of your own needs before lending. Income arrives by unusual roads and chances come through friends; be careful about lending.
Love and relationships
You give a great deal in love; asking for care in return is not wrong, remember that. You see your partner as a friend; your own space and freedom matter to you.
Health
Carrying others' burdens builds fatigue; keep your own rest time fixed. Mind the circulation, ankles and nerves.
The Sun’s sign and nakshatra are worked out from the day and month; for a birth close to the day the Sun changes sign, it can shift by a day from year to year. Check the full birth chart to be sure.
Your three-layer personality
the Sun: Inside, you are built for independence. From childhood, an order given in the wrong tone makes something in you refuse, and you find no peace unless the decision is your own.
the Moon: Outside, you are calm and adaptable. You step into the middle and settle a situation before the quarrel has properly started.
Root number 3 belongs to Jupiter, teacher of the gods, so learning and teaching are both woven into your nature. What you know you cannot keep to yourself; it has to be told to someone. That quality carries you into the place of a teacher, an adviser or a guide, and even without the title people come to you for counsel. The danger is a single one: interest spreads in too many directions and nothing reaches its end. It is the work you finish that gives you your name.
friend Inside versus outside: The inner mind and the outward behaviour support each other. You do what you think, which is why people trust you easily.
